Conventional mashers with their vertical grip can be awkward and inefficient to use. This ergonomic masher features a D-shaped design with a non-slip grip that is much more comfortable to hold. It also transfers the downward force straight through the mashing plate, making short work of boiled potatoes, kumara, or other soft-boiled vegetables.
It has fins on the edges of the handle let you scrape around the pan as you mash, ensuring you get every last lump, and is suitable for use with non-stick cookware. The curved mashing plate fits nicely into the pan edges.
