Made in Japan, the most popular series ‘RAN 69 layer knives’ has now received two additional features - the blade has an engraved logo with four letters meaning multi-layered knife, and the top-end has been engraved with RAN, The Sensational.
RAN PLUS knives are clad with 68 layers of high carbon stainless steel on a super steel core. They were awarded Best Product Award in European testing competitions in 2009, 2012, 2016 and 2017.
The Damascus blades have an outstanding hardness rating of HRC61, ensuring long lasting cutting performance.
The handle is made of FDA approved Micarta that is very strong and sturdy and simply doesn't wear out and has stainless steel rivets to fastened the handle tightly.
